The location of the cottage was perfect, it was really close to both Belfast and Lisburn. This made it very convenient for exploring the area and getting to the airport quickly. the cottage itself had everything we needed for a self-catering stay, which was really handy. And the log fire was a great bonus, especially as we visited during Easter and it was still a bit chilly outside.
One downside for me was the water pressure and the shower. I like to start my mornings with a nice hot shower, but unfortunately, the water was only lukewarm.

Had a blast hiking and cycling in the area, even though I'm usually more of a high tea and spa kind of lady. WiFi and parking were a nice touch, I guess.
Just loved the lukewarm showers, as nothing says luxury like starting your day feeling a bit chilly and uncomfortable.

The bungalow at Ponderosea Cottage had everything I needed for a cozy stay. The tea/coffee maker was a total lifesaver in the mornings, and having a full kitchen meant I could cook up meals just like at home. It made me feel right at ease and made my stay extra comfortable.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the oven in the bungalow. But hey, that's just me!
